What does a men's bespoke jewellery brand look like when the occasion leads instead of the catalogue? We built the answer to find out.

The storyLABS 01
(01) The problem

Jewellery gets sold like a spreadsheet.

Men's jewellery online is a grid of SKUs: metal, carat, price, add to cart. But nobody buys a ring because of the carat column. They buy it because of a proposal, a milestone, a first child, a promotion they earned. The consulting question on the table: what happens if the occasion leads the whole brand and the catalogue follows?

You can debate that in a deck for a month. We'd rather build it and look at it.

(02) What we built

A working brand, not a mood board.

A React + Vite storefront with a real-time Three.js diamond as the centrepiece: light moves through it as you do, rendered live in WebGL. The narrative is occasion-led across five moments (proposal, milestone, fatherhood, gift, self), with the line "you bring the occasion, we forge the rest" carrying the story from hero to product.

Around the site we built the selling machine: an in-house 9:16 pipeline that produced four vertical ad films, from brand spots to native UGC-style creator videos, with captions and end cards composited locally. Brand, product experience, and distribution, all testable before a single rupee goes into inventory.

(03) The outcome

The strategy became something you can click.

The concept exists as a working storefront in the browser plus a set of ready-to-run vertical ads. That is what the consulting engagement gets to react to: not a hypothesis, a prototype of the brand itself.

To be clear, because we always are: this is Labs work. No client has shipped this product, and we won't pretend otherwise.
