The point of this tool is not to sell you a redesign. It is to let you see, in your own numbers, whether the revenue upside of a clearer, faster, better-converting site would cover the cost of building one. If it would not, do not redesign. How to read the result
What your site produces now is your monthly visitors times your conversion rate times your average customer value. It is the revenue your website is responsible for today.
What one conversion point is worth is the single most useful number here. It is what you gain per month for every one percentage point your conversion rate improves. A site at two percent instead of one percent is not one percent better, it is one whole extra point, and at real traffic that is often a large number.
Extra revenue at your target compares your current rate to the target you set. Annualise it and weigh it against what a build costs: a one-page Overnight site is $399, a multi-page Engine site with lead capture is from $699, a Shopify Storefront is from $1,500, and a cinematic Flagship site is from $3,000. If the annual upside is a multiple of the build cost, the redesign is an easy call.
