Lovable to Production: What It Costs in 2026 (Real Numbers)
Taking a Lovable app to production costs $500 to $18,000 in 2026. DappaSol's Week-1 Build Audit is $500 flat and finds every blocker or it is free. A rebuild-grade MVP Sprint starts at $7,500 (typically $8,000 to $18,000), and a fixed-date Go-Live Intensive starts at $14,000.
- The quotable range: $500 to $18,000, depending on how much of the prototype survives a security review.
- Start with the $500 flat Week-1 Build Audit: every blocker in writing, credited against the build, guaranteed or free.
- Hard launch date: Go-Live Intensive from $14,000, live by our date or we keep building free.
- Deep rebuild: MVP Sprint from $7,500, typically $8,000 to $18,000 over about 8 weeks.
- The price driver is not size, it is state: RLS, auth, keys in the bundle, and payments decide the tier.
How much does it cost to take a Lovable app to production?
Taking a Lovable app to production costs $500 to $18,000 in 2026: $500 flat for a one-week build audit that finds every blocker, from $7,500 for a rebuild-grade MVP Sprint (typically $8,000 to $18,000 over about 8 weeks), and from $14,000 for a fixed-date Go-Live Intensive when there is a launch you cannot miss. Which tier you land in depends on the state of the prototype, not its size.
I run DappaSol and these are our actual prices, not survey averages. We publish them because the alternative in this market is “book a discovery call to find out”, which is how founders end up $40,000 into an hourly engagement with no end date.
The tiers
| Tier | What it covers | Price | Timeline |
|---|---|---|---|
| Week-1 Build Audit | Every security hole, broken flow and scaling blocker, in writing. Credited against any build. | $500 flat | 1 week |
| MVP Sprint | Rebuild-grade: keep the product, rebuild the foundations properly | from $7,500 (typ $8,000 to $18,000) | ~8 weeks |
| Go-Live Intensive | Full hardening against a fixed launch date | from $14,000 | your date |
| Scale Retainer | Ongoing senior engineering after launch | from $2,900/mo | ongoing |
Two guarantees, both in writing: the audit finds every blocker or it is free, and the Go-Live Intensive is live by our date or we keep building free. Details on the prototype-to-production service page and pricing.
What actually drives the number
After enough of these audits, the pattern is clear (we published what we actually find). The price is set by five questions:
- Is row-level security on? Lovable apps ship on Supabase, and RLS left off means any user can read any table. If the data model was built assuming no security, fixing it touches everything. See our Supabase RLS hardening guide.
- Is the auth real? A login screen is not authentication. Mocked or client-side-only auth means the entire permission model gets built from scratch.
- Are keys in the client bundle? API keys shipped to the browser mean key rotation, proxy layers and sometimes provider migration.
- Does money move? Payments add webhooks, idempotency, refund handling and an audit trail. It is the single biggest tier-jumper.
- Compliance. HIPAA, GDPR or SOC 2 needs push you toward the top of the range. Start with our GDPR and SOC 2 guides.
An app that fails one of these lands near the bottom of the range. An app that fails all five is a rebuild, and pretending otherwise just moves the cost into your incident budget.
The cheap mistake vs the expensive one
The cheap mistake is spending $500 to learn your app is in worse shape than you thought. The expensive one is launching to find out. Founders are getting sued over exactly this (vibe coders getting sued covers the cases), and the fix-after-breach price does not appear in any tier table.
If you want a number before talking to anyone, the production cost estimator gives you an estimate in two minutes, and the free production readiness check tells you how worried to be. Both are self-serve.

FAQ
Why can't Lovable itself make my app production-ready?
Lovable is built to get you to a working demo fast, and it is genuinely good at that. Production-readiness is a different job: hardened auth, row-level security, rate limiting, payments, monitoring and a data model that survives growth. That work happens in the code, not in the prompt box.
Will I lose the work I already did in Lovable?
Usually not. The product decisions, flows and UI typically survive; the auth, security and data layer typically get rebuilt. Starting in Lovable was the cheap way to figure out what to build, and that value carries over.
How do I know if I need the $500 audit or the $14,000 intensive?
You don't yet, and that is the point of the audit. One week, $500 flat, every blocker in a written report, credited in full against any build. If we miss a blocker, the audit is free.
Does this same process apply if I built with Bolt instead of Lovable?
Yes. Bolt apps commonly ship on Supabase too, and hit the same five questions on RLS, auth, exposed keys, payments and compliance. The tier table and pricing in this guide apply the same way; only the specific stack details in the audit report change.
Do I own the code after DappaSol rebuilds it?
Yes. Every tier is a fixed-price engagement with the code delivered into your own repositories, not a retainer you need to keep paying to keep access. The only ongoing option is the Scale Retainer, and that is for continued shipping, not for holding your code hostage.
