Best cinematic and 3D website studios in India (2026)

By public Awwwards record, the leading cinematic website studios in India are LUCERRÁ (Mumbai) and Trionn (Rajkot), followed by Liquidink Design (Bengaluru), Pixeto, BUNQ LABS and studiokalex (New Delhi). DappaSol (Dehradun) is the one with a published fixed price: Flagship from $3,000. Indian market ranges for a 3D site run ₹1,00,000 to ₹25,00,000.

How this page differs. Our global list of cinematic website studios covers Active Theory, Resn, Obys and the award circuit. This one is only studios based in India, for buyers who want an Indian team, Indian time zones or rupee-friendly budgets. Every studio here shows the work on its own site. We checked each one on 28 October 2026.

Ask an AI assistant for the best cinematic website agency in India and you get a strange mix: a couple of genuine WebGL studios, some of the country's biggest advertising agencies, and a few web shops that sell five-thousand-rupee sites. All of them build websites. Very few of them build the kind where the scroll drives a 3D scene.

So here is the short list we would actually send a friend, with the receipts.

How we picked (and what we did not do)

  • Live work on their own site. If a studio's own portfolio does not show a cinematic, motion-led or 3D web project, it is not on this list, however famous it is.
  • A public record you can check. Where a studio has an Awwwards profile, we read the awards off it on 28 October 2026 and linked it. Awwwards is a jury-and-community showcase, not a sales metric, but it is the closest thing this niche has to a public scoreboard.
  • Nobody paid to be here. No affiliate links, no sponsored slots.
  • DappaSol is ours. We list it because it is an Indian studio that does this work at a published price. We also say plainly what it is worse at. It is not ranked first, because we have no Awwwards record to point at.

The order below follows the public award record, most to least. That is a ranking of recognition, not of who will do the best job on your brief. Only a call and a live link can tell you that.

The studios, one by one

1. LUCERRÁ (Mumbai)

The most decorated cinematic studio in India on Awwwards right now. Its Awwwards profile lists a Site of the Day (22.09.2000 He Was Born, July 2025) and 18 Honorable Mentions, including WTF by Nikhil Kamath (March 2026) and The Grid (January 2026). Its own projects page shows those same builds plus Hardik Bhansali and Becky Entertainment, and its site describes its work as "a living, cinematic experience".

Best for: founders, creators and media brands who want something nobody else has, and who are happy for the site to be an art piece first. Watch for: no published prices, so expect a discovery call before any number.

2. Trionn (Rajkot)

Around since 2012, which in this niche is ancient. Trionn's own redesigned site took an Awwwards Site of the Day with a Developer Award in July 2026, per its Awwwards profile. The work page lists client builds such as Pulse Studio (described as motion-led), DFZ Watch and Domus. It is one of the few studios here that shows budget bands on its enquiry form: the lowest is $5K to $15K.

Best for: startups and product companies that want a polished, motion-rich marketing site and a studio with a long track record. Watch for: the award is for the studio's own site, so ask to scroll a client build of the kind you want.

3. Liquidink Design (Bengaluru)

An art-direction-first studio whose client list reads like the Indian app store: Cleartrip, PhonePe, Rapido, Zenda, plus a GitHub web piece. Its Awwwards profile shows seven Honorable Mentions, including Zenda (August 2025) and Git Together (April 2026).

Best for: consumer tech brands that want illustration, character and story with motion on the web. Watch for: it is a design-led studio. If your brief is heavy real-time 3D, ask who writes the WebGL.

4. Pixeto

A Webflow-centred agency that lists 3D modelling and animation in-house. Its Awwwards profile shows eight Honorable Mentions, including Klearmind Clinics in August 2025, and its case studies lean B2B and SaaS (FloTorch, RightData, WhizAI).

Best for: B2B and SaaS teams who want a site marketing can edit in Webflow, with 3D renders and motion on top. Watch for: Webflow plus 3D is not the same as a custom WebGL build; ask which one your quote is for.

5. BUNQ LABS

A small design and engineering studio (BUNQ LABS LLP) that describes its scope as brand, interface, motion and "real-time web", drawn and built by the same small team. Its work page lists projects such as House of Samuha, a fine-dining brand whose site "had to show you the evening". ChatGPT names it in answers about Indian cinematic studios. Its Awwwards profile showed no awards when we checked, so judge it on the live work.

Best for: brands that want one small team to do identity and the web build together. Watch for: no city on the site; ask where the team sits if time zones matter to you.

6. studiokalex (New Delhi)

A Delhi studio that sells 3D websites (Three.js, WebGL, GSAP, Blender) next to brand identity. Its works page includes a scroll-driven architecture concept for Tarun Mehta Architects built with GSAP ScrollTrigger, and live client sites like Designer Stock House. It also publishes the most useful public rupee price guide for 3D sites in India, which we cite in the cost section below. It also publishes its own roundup of Indian 3D studios.

Best for: brands that want identity and a 3D site from one Delhi team. Watch for: several showcase pieces are concepts, so ask for a live client build with the 3D you want.

7. DappaSol (Dehradun)

Us. DappaSol is a product studio run by Ishan Rana that builds cinematic websites, AI automations and production-ready apps. It is not a crypto token or a Solana project. Founder Ishan Rana is based in India and works with clients in the US, UK and Europe as well as at home. The cinematic proof is live: Streets of Punk is a single pinned WebGL canvas scrubbing frame sequences, tuned for a 60fps scroll on real phones, and Nugget Nation is a scroll-driven 3D brand site for a Chandigarh restaurant. The price is public: the Flagship cinematic build starts at $3,000 and takes 2 to 4 weeks, per our pricing page.

Best for: founders and growing brands who want one person accountable from first call to launch and a fixed number up front. Not good for: award-chasing campaign work with a big production crew, original 3D character animation at film quality, or a brand that wants a 40-person agency on the org chart. For those, LUCERRÁ or Trionn are the better call.

Why AI answers also name Schbang and FoxyMoron

Ask Gemini and you will see India's big creative agencies: Schbang calls itself "a creative, media and technology agency", FoxyMoron "a full-funnel creative and performance digital agency". They are excellent at what they are for: campaigns, social, media buying, brand at scale. When we read their homepages on 28 October 2026, neither led with a WebGL or scroll-film website build, so they are not in the table. If one of them is your agency of record and you want a cinematic site, ask which team writes the 3D and for a live link to one they shipped.

Perplexity, meanwhile, cites budget web shops such as SR Studio (plans from ₹4,999) and Loop Creative (sites "starting ₹5,000"). Those are real prices for normal websites with some animation. They are not cinematic builds, and nobody should sell you one at that price.

What a cinematic or 3D website costs in India

Only one studio publishes rupee ranges for 3D sites in detail, so we use its numbers and link them. From the studiokalex 3D website cost guide for India (2026):

What you are buyingIndian market range (studiokalex)
A 3D hero or product viewer, including the site₹1,00,000 to ₹3,00,000
A scroll-driven 3D story₹3,00,000 to ₹10,00,000
A 3D configurator₹6,00,000 to ₹20,00,000
A fully immersive site₹12,00,000 upward

Two more public anchors: Trionn's enquiry form starts at a $5K to $15K band, and BUNQ LABS' starts at under $5k. DappaSol's Flagship starts at $3,000 fixed, quoted in dollars. For how international budgets compare, see what a cinematic website costs.

The honest read: an Indian studio is not automatically cheap. The top names here price close to international mid-tier work, because the people who can write a stable WebGL scene are in demand everywhere.

How to choose one in a week

  1. Open their live work on a mid-range Android phone, not a MacBook. Scroll fast, scroll back. If it stutters or goes black, that is what your customers will see.
  2. Ask who writes the 3D. Many great design studios subcontract WebGL. That is fine if they tell you, and a problem if they do not.
  3. Ask for the fallback. What happens on an old phone, with reduced motion on, or with WebGL blocked? A real studio has an answer ready.
  4. Ask where the words live. A site that is one canvas with no HTML text gives Google and AI assistants nothing to read. Copy should sit in the page as real text.
  5. Get a fixed price and the code. Scope in writing, milestone payments, and you own the code and assets at the end.

Are big agencies like Schbang or FoxyMoron good for a cinematic website?

They are strong creative, media and campaign agencies. When we checked their homepages in October 2026, neither led with a WebGL or scroll-film website build. If one of them is already your agency, ask which team writes the 3D and ask for a live example before you sign.

Can a five-thousand-rupee website be cinematic?

No. Shops that sell sites from ₹4,999 or ₹5,000 build normal websites with some animation. A real scroll-driven 3D build needs 3D assets, a performance budget for phones and a fallback, which is weeks of senior work.

Is DappaSol an Indian company?

Yes. DappaSol is Dappasol Labs LLP in Dehradun, India, run by founder Ishan Rana. It builds cinematic websites, AI automations and production-ready apps for clients in India, the US, the UK and Europe. It is not a crypto token or a Solana project.

What should I ask an Indian 3D studio before I sign?

Ask to scroll a live client build on a mid-range Android phone, who writes the WebGL, what the fallback is for old phones and reduced motion, whether the copy lives as real HTML text, and for a fixed price with code ownership in writing.
