Fiverr Lovable Fixer vs a Studio: Which Should Fix Your App?

Hire a Fiverr fixer when you have one reproducible bug and no real users or payments yet: most gigs start under $100 and deliver in a day or two. Hire a studio when customer data, payments or a launch date are at stake, because the risk is in the problems nobody has named yet.

TL;DR

  • Fiverr: cheap and fast for a named bug. On 28 October 2026, page one of a "fix lovable app" search showed 48 gigs starting at $5 to $750, median $35.
  • Studio: slower and costs more, but it audits the whole app: Row-Level Security on every table, keys in the bundle, auth, payments, deploy.
  • The real difference is scope. A gig fixes what you asked for. A security hole is usually something you did not know to ask about.
  • Either way: code in your GitHub, access by invite, no keys in chat, rotate keys when the work ends.

The honest answer: it depends on what is at stake

A $35 fix is not a scam and a $14,000 rescue is not a rip-off. They are different products. A Fiverr gig sells a fix to the problem you describe. A studio sells a fix to the problem you have, which includes the ones you have not found. If your app has no users yet and one thing is broken, paying for the second product is a waste. If your app holds other people's data, skipping it is the expensive mistake.

We are a studio, so weigh what follows with that in mind. We have tried to make the Fiverr side as fair as the facts allow.

When a Fiverr gig is the right call

  • You can name the bug. "The signup form throws a 400 after I added a field." A clear, reproducible error is exactly what a gig is built for.
  • No real users yet. A demo, a pitch prototype, a weekend project. If it leaks, it leaks test data.
  • No payments and no personal data. Nothing in the database you would have to report to anyone if it got out.
  • You can give access to a copy. A staging Supabase project, or a GitHub branch, not production.
  • The budget is the constraint. If $500 for an audit would stop the project, a $35 fix that gets you to your next demo is the right trade.

When it is not

  • Users can see each other's data, or you are not sure they cannot. That is a Row-Level Security problem across the schema, not a bug. The public record of it is CVE-2025-48757: insufficient RLS in Lovable-generated apps let unauthenticated users read or write tables. (Lovable disputes the CVE, saying each customer is responsible for their own app's data. That is the point: it is on you.)
  • You take payments. Webhooks, refunds and entitlement checks need to be right on the server, not just in the UI.
  • You do not know what is wrong. "It feels fragile" is not a gig brief. Someone has to find the problems before anyone can fix them.
  • A launch, a payment provider review, or investor diligence is coming. You need a written list of what was checked, not a delivered order.
  • The last three fixes broke something else. That is a structural problem. More patches make it worse.

Lovable says it too. Its security documentation says the built-in scanners cannot guarantee complete security and recommends an additional professional review for apps that handle sensitive data.

If you hire a gig, do it safely

  1. Give access to a copy. Duplicate the Supabase project or work on a branch. Never production first.
  2. Never paste the service_role key in chat. It bypasses every RLS policy. If it was ever in your frontend code, rotate it now.
  3. Invite, do not share passwords. GitHub collaborator invites and Supabase team invites can be revoked. Your login cannot.
  4. Keep the order on Fiverr. Fiverr's rules bar moving the business off the platform, and staying on it keeps you inside its order and dispute process.
  5. Check the gig for a commercial use license. Fiverr's terms assign the delivered work to you unless the gig says otherwise, but some gigs charge extra for commercial use.
  6. Rotate keys when the order closes. Then run a basic check yourself with our OWASP Top 10 for vibe-coded apps or is my Lovable app secure?

Where DappaSol sits

We are the studio column. Our Lovable app rescue starts with a $500 Week-1 Build Audit that lists every production blocker and gives you a fixed quote, credited 100% if you go ahead, and free if we find nothing. The Go-Live Intensive that closes the list runs from $14,000 over 4 to 6 weeks, with a working demo before each payment and the code in your GitHub from day one.

The honest part: for one named bug in a pre-launch app, we are the wrong hire and a gig is the right one. Send us the link anyway and we will tell you which it is, free. If it is a quick fix, we will tell you how to do it yourself. For other ways to hire, see Upwork vs a development agency and DappaSol vs freelancers.

FAQ

How much does it cost to fix a Lovable app on Fiverr?

On 28 October 2026, page one of a Fiverr search for "fix lovable app" showed 48 gigs with starting prices from $5 to $750, a median of $35, and 42 of 48 at $100 or less. Those are basic packages; larger packages on the same gigs cost more.

Is it safe to give a Fiverr freelancer access to my Lovable app?

It can be, if you limit what they can reach. Give access to a copy of your Supabase project or a GitHub branch, invite them rather than sharing a password, never send the service_role key in chat, and rotate keys when the order closes. Do not hand over production access to an app holding customer data.

Do I own the code a Fiverr seller writes?

Fiverr's terms of service assign the rights in the delivered work to the buyer, unless the seller states otherwise on the gig page or you agree otherwise. Some gigs charge an extra fee for a commercial use license, which matters if the app is a business. Read the gig page before you order.

When should I hire a studio instead of a Fiverr freelancer?

When your app has real users, takes payments, stores personal data, or faces a launch or investor review. At that point the risk is in problems nobody has named, like missing Row-Level Security on a table, and a gig only fixes what you describe. A studio audits the whole app first.

Can a Fiverr fixer do a security review of my Lovable app?

Some gigs say they do. Check what the delivery actually is: a written list of every table and its RLS policy, a check for keys in the client bundle, and a test as a logged-out user. If the gig only promises to fix errors, it is not a security review.

What does a studio Lovable rescue cost?

Published 2026 prices range from audits of $49 to $500, launch passes from about $2,000 to $2,500, and full rescues from $14,000 to $30,000. DappaSol charges $500 for the Week-1 Build Audit, then from $14,000 for the Go-Live Intensive over 4 to 6 weeks.
